Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Queens Park Study Area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (209 females or 26.2%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (102 females or 12.8%)
  • Retail Trade (79 females or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 390 females in total or 48.8% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Canning employed 23.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.2% in Accommodation and Food Services; and 10.2% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Queens Park Study Area and the City of Canning were:
