Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bentley in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (537 people or 13.5%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (489 people or 12.3%)
  • Retail Trade (446 people or 11.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,472 people in total or 37.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, East Cannington employed 14.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.3% in Accommodation and Food Services; and 10.1% in Retail Trade.
