Dominant groups

Analysis of the share of the female population attending educational institutions in the City of Canning in 2021 compared to the City of Gosnells shows that there was a lower proportion attending primary school, a similar proportion attending secondary school, and a higher proportion engaged in tertiary level education.

Overall, 8.0% of the female population were attending primary school, 7.1% of the female population were attending secondary institutions, and 11.2% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 9.2%, 6.8% and 8.1% respectively for the City of Gosnells.

The major differences between the share of the female population attending learning institutions in the City of Canning and the City of Gosnells were:
