The major differences in the female age groups reporting a need for assistance in the City of Canning and the City of Gosnells were:
- A larger percentage of females aged 85 and over (52.6% compared to 48.9%)
- A smaller percentage of females aged 80 to 84 (26.8% compared to 30.9%)
- A smaller percentage of females aged 75 to 79 (15.8% compared to 18.9%)
- A smaller percentage of females aged 60 to 64 (4.4% compared to 7.0%)
