Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the female population in the City of Boroondara in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a higher proportion of females holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of females with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 67.6% of the female population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 26.8% had no qualifications, compared with 56.8% and 35.8% respectively for Greater Melbourne.
