Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Deepdene in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (156 people or 16.8%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (134 people or 14.4%)
  • Education and Training (105 people or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 395 people in total or 42.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Kew East employed 16.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 10.8% in Education and Training.
