Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of the City of Boroondara in 2021 compared to Maranoa Ward shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a similar proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.1% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 16.9% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 18.9% and 17.2% respectively for Maranoa Ward.
