Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Black Rock in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (498 males or 31.0%)
  • Managers (484 males or 30.2%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (176 males or 11.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,158 males in total or 72.2% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Bay Street Activity Centre employed 35.8% in Professionals; 27.1% in Managers; and 8.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Black Rock and Bay Street Activity Centre were:
