Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Wodonga in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,794 males or 26.5%)
  • Labourers (1,462 males or 13.9%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (1,425 males or 13.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 5,681 males in total or 54.0% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Regional VIC employed 23.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 14.7% in Labourers; and 11.2% in Machinery Operators And Drivers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Wodonga and Regional VIC were:
