Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in Coastal South in 2021 compared to Port Macquarie-Hastings Council area shows that there was a higher proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 58.5% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 31.3% had no qualifications, compared with 54.6% and 37.4% respectively for Port Macquarie-Hastings Council area.
