Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Nowra in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Community and Personal Service Workers (605 people or 18.9%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (487 people or 15.2%)
  • Labourers (472 people or 14.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,564 people in total or 48.8% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, St Georges Basin - Basin View employed 15.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 16.6% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 11.9% in Labourers.
