Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Planning area 5 in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (967 females or 22.5%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (845 females or 19.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (793 females or 18.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,605 females in total or 60.7% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Kiama Municipality employed 34.1% in Professionals; 16.8% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 18.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Planning area 5 and Kiama Municipality were:
