Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Planning area 5 in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,294 males or 30.1%)
  • Labourers (672 males or 15.6%)
  • Managers (637 males or 14.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,603 males in total or 60.5% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Coastal South employed 31.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.0% in Labourers; and 16.0% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Planning area 5 and Coastal South were:
