Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Milton in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (93 people or 13.7%)
  • Construction (92 people or 13.5%)
  • Retail Trade (78 people or 11.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 263 people in total or 38.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Shoalhaven City employed 16.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.9% in Construction; and 10.7% in Retail Trade.
