Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Ulladulla in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (273 females or 20.6%)
  • Retail Trade (261 females or 19.7%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (221 females or 16.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 755 females in total or 56.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Bega Valley Council area employed 25.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.0% in Retail Trade; and 11.3% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Ulladulla and Bega Valley Council area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in retail trade (19.7% compared to 13.0%)
