Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Shoalhaven City in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (5,394 females or 25.9%)
  • Retail Trade (2,727 females or 13.1%)
  • Education and Training (2,646 females or 12.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 10,767 females in total or 51.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Bomaderry employed 31.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.1% in Retail Trade; and 10.9% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Shoalhaven City and Bomaderry were:
