Analysis of the household/family types in the Milton-Ulladulla Structure Plan area in 2021 compared to Planning area 5 shows that there was a similar proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 19.4% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 10.3% were one-parent families, compared with 19.0% and 9.3% respectively for Planning area 5.
There were a similar proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 26.8% compared to 26.4% in Planning area 5 while the proportion of couples without children was 33.5% compared to 34.0% in Planning area 5.
