Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Planning area 1 in 2021 compared to Vincentia - Erowal Bay and Surrounds shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 23.4% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.7% were one-parent families, compared with 19.0% and 8.3% respectively for Vincentia - Erowal Bay and Surrounds.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children.
