Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Coastal Mid in 2021 compared to Greenwell Point - Terara and Surrounds shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 16.1% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 6.1% were one-parent families, compared with 17.2% and 7.0% respectively for Greenwell Point - Terara and Surrounds.
