Dominant groups

In 2016, there were 19 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Shire of Plantagenet, compared with 1,365 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in the Shire of Plantagenet in 2016, compared to Regional WA, shows that 0.9% used public transport, while 64.1% used a private vehicle, compared with 4.9% and 67.9% respectively in Regional WA.

The major differences in persons between the method of travel to work of the Shire of Plantagenet and Regional WA were:
