Dominant groups
Analysis of the family blending in City of Whittlesea in 2021 compared to National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) shows that there was a lower proportion of step families as well as a lower proportion of blended families. Overall, 4.9% of total couple families with children were step families, and 2.6% were blended families, compared with 8.9% and 4.0% respectively for National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA).
