Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Langwarrin in 2021 compared to Frankston South shows that 94.2% of the households owned at least one car, while 2.5% did not, compared with 92.7% and 3.9% respectively in Frankston South.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a similar proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 28.4% of the households owned one car; 40.8% owned two cars; and 25.0% owned three cars or more, compared with 28.8%; 42.4% and 21.4% respectively for Frankston South.
