Dominant groups

Analysis of male individual income levels in Colac Otway Shire in 2021 compared to Regional VIC shows that there was a lower proportion of males earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a similar proportion of low income males (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 7.5% of the male population earned a high income, and 29.6% earned a low income, compared with 11.3% and 29.2% respectively for Regional VIC.

The major differences between Colac Otway Shire's male individual incomes and Regional VIC's male individual incomes were:
