Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Whitfield in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (697 people or 31.8%)
  • Managers (267 people or 12.2%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (262 people or 11.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,226 people in total or 55.9% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Queensland (excl. SEQ) employed 16.2% in Professionals; 12.1% in Managers; and 13.0% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
