There were more community and personal service workers in White Rock in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in White Rock in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Community and Personal Service Workers (342 people or 16.9%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (310 people or 15.4%)
  • Professionals (277 people or 13.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 929 people in total or 46.0% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Westcourt employed 17.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 15.3% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 19.2% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of White Rock and Westcourt were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (12.1% compared to 8.8%)
  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (7.5% compared to 4.5%)
