There were more female community and personal service workers in Manunda in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Manunda in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Community and Personal Service Workers (265 females or 24.8%)
  • Professionals (207 females or 19.4%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (189 females or 17.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 661 females in total or 61.8% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Holloways Beach - Machans Beach employed 24.0% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 27.0% in Professionals; and 14.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Manunda and Holloways Beach - Machans Beach were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (17.7% compared to 14.5%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed as Labourers (11.4% compared to 8.5%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed as Professionals (19.4% compared to 27.0%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed as Managers (6.5% compared to 8.5%)
