Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in White Rock in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (246 females or 23.8%)
  • Retail Trade (149 females or 14.4%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (121 females or 11.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 516 females in total or 49.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Kamerunga - Caravonica and District employed 28.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.0% in Retail Trade; and 9.2% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of White Rock and Kamerunga - Caravonica and District were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in retail trade (14.4% compared to 8.0%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed in accommodation and food services (11.7% compared to 9.2%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed in education and training (11.3% compared to 16.5%)
