Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Westcourt in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Accommodation and Food Services (107 males or 12.8%)
  • Construction (88 males or 10.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (83 males or 10.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 278 males in total or 33.3% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Holloways Beach - Machans Beach employed 7.4% in Accommodation and Food Services; 18.6% in Construction; and 10.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Westcourt and Holloways Beach - Machans Beach were:
