Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Woree in 2021 compared to Babinda - Rural South shows that there was a lower proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) as well as a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 3.8% of the population earned a high income, and 30.8% earned a low income, compared with 6.8% and 33.1% respectively for Babinda - Rural South.

The major differences between Woree's individual incomes and Babinda - Rural South's individual incomes were:
