Analysis of the household/family types in White Rock in 2021 compared to Mooroobool shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 21.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 15.4% were one-parent families, compared with 24.2% and 14.7% respectively for Mooroobool.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 24.6% compared to 25.2% in Mooroobool while the proportion of couples without children was 23.4% compared to 24.7% in Mooroobool.
