Dominant groups
Analysis of the household/family types in Tusmore in 2021 compared to Eastern Adelaide Region shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 36.8% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 9.4% were one-parent families, compared with 29.7% and 8.7% respectively for Eastern Adelaide Region.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 21.3% compared to 28.5% in Eastern Adelaide Region while the proportion of couples without children was 29.1% compared to 25.6% in Eastern Adelaide Region.
