Dominant groups
Analysis of the ancestry responses of the population in Kensington Gardens in 2016 shows that the top five ancestries nominated were:

- Australian (710 people or 29.0%)
- Italian (256 people or 10.5%)
- Chinese (232 people or 9.5%)
