Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Rural North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (129 females or 21.4%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (79 females or 13.1%)
- Education and Training (69 females or 11.4%)
In combination, these three industries employed 277 females in total or 45.9% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Benalla Rural City employed 26.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 6.9% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 12.2% in Education and Training.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Rural North and Benalla Rural City were:
- A larger percentage of females employed in agriculture, forestry and fishing (13.1% compared to 6.9%)
