Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Bathurst Regional Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,431 males or 23.6%)
  • Managers (1,471 males or 14.3%)
  • Labourers (1,429 males or 13.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 5,331 males in total or 51.7% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Regional NSW employed 24.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.1% in Managers; and 13.8% in Labourers.
