An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Jindabyne in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Accommodation and Food Services (670 people or 22.2%)
- Arts and Recreation Services (398 people or 13.2%)
- Construction (279 people or 9.2%)

In comparison, Snowy Monaro Regional Council area employed 13.3% in Accommodation and Food Services; 5.1% in Arts and Recreation Services; and 9.9% in Construction.
