Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Jindabyne in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Accommodation and Food Services (670 people or 22.2%)
  • Arts and Recreation Services (398 people or 13.2%)
  • Construction (279 people or 9.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,347 people in total or 44.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Snowy Monaro Regional Council area employed 13.3% in Accommodation and Food Services; 5.1% in Arts and Recreation Services; and 9.9% in Construction.
