Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Cities of Albury and Wodonga in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (8,889 people or 18.9%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (7,118 people or 15.1%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (6,651 people or 14.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 22,658 people in total or 48.2% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Wodonga employed 17.4% in Professionals; 15.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 14.6% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
