Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the population in Tweed Shire in 2021 compared to South West Tweed - Uki shows that there was a higher proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), as well as a higher proportion of people with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 51.0% of the population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 38.1% had no qualifications, compared with 50.0% and 30.2% respectively for South West Tweed - Uki.

The major differences between qualifications held by the population of Tweed Shire and South West Tweed - Uki were:
