Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Telopea in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (668 people or 29.8%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (330 people or 14.7%)
  • Managers (282 people or 12.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,280 people in total or 57.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Eastwood employed 37.7% in Professionals; 12.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 14.0% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Telopea and Eastwood were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Labourers (7.9% compared to 5.1%)
