Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Oatlands in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (794 people or 30.6%)
  • Managers (513 people or 19.8%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (445 people or 17.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,752 people in total or 67.5% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Rosehill - Camellia employed 26.8% in Professionals; 10.1% in Managers; and 12.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Oatlands and Rosehill - Camellia were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Managers (19.8% compared to 10.1%)
  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (17.1% compared to 12.5%)
