Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in North Parramatta in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (917 males or 32.2%)
  • Managers (404 males or 14.2%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (376 males or 13.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,697 males in total or 59.5% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Eastwood employed 36.1% in Professionals; 16.6% in Managers; and 13.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of North Parramatta and Eastwood were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (9.5% compared to 5.6%)
  • A larger percentage of males employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (10.1% compared to 8.0%)
