Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Oatlands in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (794 people or 30.6%)
- Managers (513 people or 19.8%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (445 people or 17.1%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,752 people in total or 67.5% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Rydalmere employed 26.3% in Professionals; 13.7% in Managers; and 16.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Oatlands and Rydalmere were:
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Managers (19.8% compared to 13.7%)
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Professionals (30.6% compared to 26.3%)
