Dominant groups
Analysis of the five year age groups of Dundas in 2021 compared to Constitution Hill shows that there was a similar proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 18.6% of the population was aged between 0 and 15, and 12.8% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.0% and 15.2% respectively for Constitution Hill.
The major differences between the age structure of Dundas and Constitution Hill were:
- A larger percentage of persons aged 35 to 39 (9.2% compared to 6.3%)
- A larger percentage of persons aged 30 to 34 (8.8% compared to 6.7%)
- A smaller percentage of persons aged 25 to 29 (5.6% compared to 7.6%)

From 2006 to 2021, Dundas's population increased by 1,588 people (45.4%). This represents an average annual population change of 2.53% per year over the period.
The largest changes in age structure in this area between 2006 and 2021 were in the age groups:
- 30 to 34 (+182 persons)
- 35 to 39 (+162 persons)
- 60 to 64 (+135 persons)
- 20 to 24 (+132 persons)
