Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Travancore in 2021 compared to Strathmore - Strathmore Heights - Essendon Fields shows that 76.2% of the households owned at least one car, while 17.1% did not, compared with 93.7% and 3.5% respectively in Strathmore - Strathmore Heights - Essendon Fields.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 55.4% of the households owned one car; 16.7% owned two cars; and 4.1% owned three cars or more, compared with 28.9%; 43.6% and 21.2% respectively for Strathmore - Strathmore Heights - Essendon Fields.
