Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Sturt in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (313 people or 25.0%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (216 people or 17.2%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (163 people or 13.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 692 people in total or 55.2% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Marion employed 25.1% in Professionals; 14.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 13.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
