Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Marion in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (5,172 males or 21.8%)
  • Professionals (4,918 males or 20.7%)
  • Managers (3,131 males or 13.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 13,221 males in total or 55.7% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Greater Adelaide employed 20.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 19.9% in Professionals; and 14.3% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Marion and Greater Adelaide were:
