Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Northern Yeppoon in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (165 males or 29.8%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (94 males or 17.0%)
  • Professionals (82 males or 14.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 341 males in total or 61.7% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Livingstone Shire Council area employed 30.6% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 18.5% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 10.6% in Professionals.
