Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Coastal Hinterlands South in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Construction (296 people or 12.7%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (267 people or 11.4%)
- Mining (249 people or 10.7%)
In combination, these three industries employed 812 people in total or 34.7% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Rockyview - Glenlee - Glendale employed 9.5% in Construction; 13.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 7.6% in Mining.
