Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Robina East in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (704 males or 16.9%)
  • Retail Trade (399 males or 9.6%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (377 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,480 males in total or 35.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Gold Coast City employed 19.3% in Construction; 8.7% in Retail Trade; and 8.1% in Accommodation and Food Services.
