Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Carrara in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (729 females or 21.9%)
- Education and Training (421 females or 12.6%)
- Retail Trade (402 females or 12.1%)
In combination, these three industries employed 1,552 females in total or 46.5% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Gold Coast City employed 23.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.1% in Education and Training; and 12.0% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Carrara and Gold Coast City were:
