Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Palm Beach in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,065 females or 23.8%)
  • Education and Training (588 females or 13.1%)
  • Retail Trade (509 females or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,162 females in total or 48.3% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Gold Coast City employed 23.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.1% in Education and Training; and 12.0% in Retail Trade.

The major difference between the jobs held by the female population of Palm Beach and Gold Coast City was:
